On Tuesday, July 20^th Andreas Horn very successfully defended his PhD thesis. For many years, Andreas was advancing our understanding of how RNA binding proteins control development and cell fate decisions in the model organism Drosophila melanogaster. We are very proud and happy about Andreas’ success and we wish him all the best for his future endeavors.
